Q1: What is new Curiosity textbook for Class 8 Science?
A1: NCERT introduced the Curiosity textbook for Class 8 Science from 2024–25 onwards. It replaces the old Science textbook with updated chapters focusing on inquiry-based learning. XAM CONTENT covers chapters from both old and new textbooks.
Q2: Are Case Study Questions asked in Class 8 exams?
A2: Yes! CBSE has made Case Study and Passage-Based Questions mandatory from Class 6 to 12. In Class 8 school assessments, they typically carry 4–8 marks. Practising them chapter-wise is highly recommended.
Q3: How important are Assertion & Reason Questions?
A3: They test conceptual understanding, not just memorisation. Mastering them in Class 8 gives students a strong foundation for Class 9–10 where this question type appears in board exams.
Q4: How many chapters in Class 8 Science and Maths?
A4: The new Curiosity textbook for Class 8 Science has 13 chapters. The NCERT Maths textbook also has 13 chapters. Social Science covers History, Civics, and Geography with 20+ chapters combined.
