Case Study Questions on Conservation of Plants and Animals

(I) During the last century, hundreds of species have been extinct, almost all as a result of human activities that have taken place over the course of time. A plant or an animal species that is endangered is a sign that the environment is degrading, which can threaten the existence of humans as well.
The impacts of human interference on wildlife are causing concern for the safety and conservation of the species. A number of factors contribute to this degradation, including deforestation, pollution of the environment, overfishing, climate change, etc.
We can conserve the vast range of flora and fauna by prohibiting hunting, poaching, deforestation, etc. Spreading awareness will also be an important step to control the extinction of plants and animals. The construction of sanctuaries and reserves will help to protect their habitat. The government should take proper steps as soon as possible to save endangered species of plants and animals. The time has come for us to act; otherwise it will be too late
