Ans. Option (a) is correct.
Explanation: Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) burns almost without smoke also does not produce any poisonous gases. Hence it does not cause air pollution. While burning of petroleum produces various harmful gases like carbon-monoxide. Therefore CNG considered as better fuel than petrol.
