Three lines shown in the figures intersect each other at point P.
Line l is perpendicular to line n.
The measure of ∠2 is 65°.
Q. 1. What is the measure of ∠6?
(a) 30°
(b) 45°
(c) 25°

Ans. Option (c) is correct.
Explanation: Clearly ∠2 + ∠3 = 90° (as l is perpendicular to n)
⇒ 65° + ∠3 = 90°
⇒ ∠3 = 90° – 65°
⇒ ∠3 = 25°
Now, ∠6 = ∠3 (Vertically opposite angles)
⇒ ∠6 = 25°
Q. 2. What is the sum of the measure of ∠3 and ∠4?
(a) 95°
(b) 115°
(c) 120°
(d) 155°
Ans. Option (b) is correct.
Explanation: ∠2+ ∠3 + ∠4 = 180°. (Linear pair)
65° + ∠3 + ∠4 = 180°
∠3 + ∠4 = 180° – 65°
