In the questions given below, there are two statements marked as Assertion (A) and Reason (R).
Read the statements carefully and choose the correct option:
(A) Both A and R are true, and R is the correct explanation of A.
(B) Both A and R are true, but R is not the correct explanation of A.
(C) A is true, but R is false.
(D) A is false, but R is true.

Q1. Assertion (A): A figure has line symmetry if it can be folded into two identical halves.
Reason (R): In line symmetry, one half is the mirror image of the other.

Ans. Option (A) is correct.
Explanation: Both are correct and directly related. Folding into mirror halves defines line symmetry.

Q2. Assertion (A): All figures that have line symmetry also have rotational symmetry.
Reason (R): Some figures can have both line and rotational symmetry.
